The last few days we've had some visitors camp out on a couple of trees along the #13 fairway.European honey bees. Thankfully, not their cousins the Africanised bees which tend to be more aggressive and less tolerable to visitors. There was another tree on the lower half of #13 fairway that had a second cluster of bees.
The cool overcast conditions where perfect and kept the populations from swarming and easier to collect. We had a beekeeper come out and collected both hives.
